The Bailey Head is a friendly pub at Oswestry market square. Our food is simple platters of Shropshire and Welsh Cheeses and Antipasti, locally made pork pies and scotch eggs and Ploughman’s Lunches. We source as many ingredients locally as possible.
We want to see the community in The Bailey Head. Whether it is a “stitch and bitch” group, or a local club or society. We will be happy to reserve an area for you.
Dogs are very welcome, just ask for a water bowl. And we aim to have some doggy snacks available.
Walkers, cyclists, motor cyclists, morris dancers … all welcome.
In addition we have live music nights, concentrating on roots, blues and the more esoteric.
Club Soda says: This place has a great menu for mindful drinkers – a couple of non-alcoholic beers, an enormous range of soft drinks as well as coffees and teas.
